Can I Generate My Own Electricity with a
Hydroelectric Turbine?
Now that 36 states have adopted "net billing legislation", we are
finally on our way to energy independence using the stream's "free
energy" . What this does is allow us to
generate our own electricity (with a hydroelectric turbine) and trade electricity
with the utility watt for watt. This also affords us the reliability of being
tied to the electrical grid while protecting us from rising electricity rates.
Silver State Renewables, Inc. can design your system, work with
local
inspectors, your utility, and governmental agencies to obtain the proper approvals (providing
appropriate drawings), and then supervise the installation of
the equipment to assure your satisfaction. Call or email us, with your
questions, or for a quote.
In the following paragraphs you will
find links to hydroelectric system manufactures and additional
resources for more information. We recognize that when you click on
one of these links you will leave our website and may never return.
While we certainly hope you will take advantage of out services at
some future date, we feel privileged to to have played some small part
in helping you learn more about how you can "become more energy
independent". Come back and see us when you're ready.
Who are the Manufacturers?
The hydroelectric industry is quite diverse. In some cases you can
purchase hydro turbines or whole systems from the manufacturer, from dealers and
distributors, or from catalog sales outlets specializing in renewable energy products.
Only turbine manufacturers are listed below. Others may be out there also.
