For those of you who knew us as "The Energy Architect, Inc." in the past, we've changed our name to better reflect our stated purpose.

We're a consulting and project management firm specializing in renewable energy projects. We here at Silver State Renewables, Inc. believe four things:

• The burning of fossil fuels detrimentally affects our environment and will adversely affect climates and economies all over the world, which will then threaten our water and food supplies.

• With our help, you too can become more independent of the dwindling supply of the world's natural resources and the resultant rise in all utility prices.

Therefore our mission is, "to help folks build a better and more self reliant environment for themselves and their families," using all of the "free" renewable energy resources available to them. And now because of the recent increases in conventional fuel prices:

• geothermal energy, using ground source heat pump technology, is now proving to be the cheapest way to heat and cool our buildings.

• in good wind regimes, utility grade "big" wind energy is now proving to be the cheapest method to produce electricity (next to hydro).

With over 35 years of experience in the alternate energy field, we can offer you sage advice and consulting services in several areas of renewable energy resources; namely solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal (in the form of ground  source heat pump systems), to help you reduce your energy costs. 

With our modeling capability and the fact that we are not agents for any of the manufacturers, we can offer you the choice of deciding to use the "best available equipment on the market, the best value on the market or the lowest cost equipment on the market". Since we deal directly with the manufacturer, or their distributor, you will typically avoid the dealer retail markup and the sales tax on the equipment (for those manufacturers out of state). This savings more than covers our consulting fee. Sometimes just the savings in the sales tax covers our consulting fee.

Incentive programs have been adopted by both federal and some state governments, so now is the time to act:

• Nevada provides rebates, 2008 through 2013, for photovoltaic solar, wind, and micro-hydro renewable energy projects. Rebates decline in succeeding years.
• Other states have similar incentive programs.
• The federal government provides tax credits, through 2016, for photovoltaic solar, thermal solar, wind, fuel cell, geothermal heat pumps and other renewable energy projects.

All sectors of of our economy are involved; residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial. Just don't wait too long because, as all incentive programs go, they have a limited life.
